Rockhal and The Schalltot Collective present:
AUGUST BURNS RED from Lancaster, Pennsylvania are an impressive example of the innovative development potential of hard music. They have successfully brought metalcore to another level with their new album “Leveler”, which was highly acclaimed in the USA, Great Britain and Scandinavia. On 25 October 2012, August Burns Red play at the Rockhal and their fans from Luxembourg should not miss this tour as they're bringing along two very special guests: THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and WHITECHAPEL.
August Burns Red's success is based on the variability of their speed, volume and complexity. On the one hand, they are able to merge the intellect of metalcore with an intense feeling of pure passion. On the other, they are extremely sincere and authentic as they are deeply embedded in Christian belief. These five young men mean what they sing and play. With their latest album “Leveler”, which was released in June, Jake Luhrs (vocals), JB Brubaker and Brent Rambler (guitars) as well as Dustin Davidson (bass) and Matt Greiner (drums) have delivered their artistic and commercial masterpiece. After the release, August Burns Red started a world tour. The impressive dynamics of their songs makes every concert a unique experience.
In Luxembourg, they will be supported by two American bands which are similarly important for the renewal of metal. Christian metalcore heroes The Devil Wears Prada, a six-piece from Ohio, create an exciting balance between their relentless music and philanthropy and religiousness. In their home country, they're well on the way to becoming stars. They're one of the most noticed young metal bands in the US.
The second supporting act is Whitechapel. Formed in 2006 in Knoxville, Tennessee, this deathcore band is able to pack speed, darkness, aggression and momentum into powerful songs which sound like prure adrenaline. Their latest album “Whitechapel” was recorded in California by producer Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, DevilDriver).
Don't miss this heavy triple concert on 25 October 2012 at the Rockhal! We might not get that much modern and complex metal for quite a while.
